Swallowtail: I have been drawing ever since I can remember. Growing up at Mt Macedon with a beautiful garden and lots of animals around I always had something to inspire me. I was privileged to study for year at Maryland Institute of Fine Arts in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. As one of the top 5 art schools in the USA, it was a wonderful experience and fantastic learning opportunity. My Illustration lecturer had even worked at Disney Studios. I returned to Australia to complete my studies at Swinburne University in Melbourne studying Graphic Design and majoring in illustration. I use mediums of watercolour, pencil, inks, acrylic and oil paints to create my work. They start as a basic pencil sketch and then find a life full of colour. Hope they bring a smile to your face And remember the next time you loose your keys it could have been the fairies
